A Worthy Independence Day Project

The Republican Club of Okaloosa County has initiated an effort to put a copy of the US Constitution and the Declaration of Independence in the pocket of every public middle school and high school student and teacher in Okaloosa County by September 17th of this year. That day has been designated Constitution Day in honor of the fact the original document was signed that date in 1787. See http://constitutioncenter.org/ConstitutionDay/ for more historical data.

The Pocket Constitution Project must raise $5,000 to purchase and distribute 20,000 copies of our founding documents at a cost of twenty-five cents each. Call the project managers Mike Kiser, 850-499-0363, or Brian Mitchell, 850-240-4457, for information on how to make a donation.

Beach Community Bank has established a special bank account into which you may make a deposit. The last 4 numbers of the The Republican Club of Okaloosa County-Pocket Constitution Project account are 6911.

This is a nonpartisan project worthy of your support!
